I woke up this morning and took my pill with that tiny bit of water. This time, though, I split my large sip into two little sips. The first was with the pill, and the second was to get rid of whatever that weird aftertaste was about. I then followed my typical morning routine, which goes as follows:
-Take the pill that is sitting on my nightstand
-Take the dogs outside to do their business
-Clean the dog bowls (food & water)
-Prep the fresh food for the dogs, put it in their bowls, and refresh the water bowl
-The 30-minute waiting period before eating or drinking is typically over by this time
-Let the dogs back in to devour breakfast
-Eat my plain soft-boiled egg and drink at least one cup of coffee
The remainder of my day went as planned. I went out with my hubs for a pedicure, ate lunch at Los Angeles Ale Works in Hermosa Beach, and then came home. I even got to spend some time riding my new e-bike around today. Then, I sat down to start chipping away at the massive amount of homework that I have.
After hours of homework, it was time to eat again, so my hubs and I went to Mumu Hot Pot in Torrance. I got the vegan option (I only have an egg in the morning) and proceeded to chow down. However, after eating just a few pieces of beancurd strips and soft tofu, I started to get full. It felt like my stomach shrank drastically.
I then figured that I could eat my mushrooms and at least the spinach. However, by that time, I felt so full that I started to get nauseous and frequently burped. Normally, I could finish the entire hot pot without feeling this way. I barely made it to 1/3 of my hot pot. Attempting to describe how I felt to hubs was difficult. It was like I had lap band surgery but didn’t. My stomach finally sent the clear message to my brain saying, “Hey, witch, I am full, gosh darn it, so stop eating!”
It took a while for that nauseous feeling to go away. The window had to be down. I felt so uncomfortable, but I wasn’t in pain. My ADHD had finally shut up and wasn’t driving me to eat till I felt like popping.
